Platform & Marketing Intern
Location: Santa Monica, CA (In-Office) | Duration: 10 – 14 weeks (Winter 2026)

Role Overview: We're seeking a creative and detail-oriented winter intern to support our Platform & Marketing team in preparing for The Montgomery Summit on March 10th and 11th, 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain exposure to the world of venture capital while building skills in event management and digital marketing. You will also join The Summit in-person alongside our team.

About March Capital: March Capital is a leading venture growth firm founded in 2013 and headquartered in Santa Monica, California. The firm specializes in high-growth technology investments, primarily focusing on AI-enabled software businesses transforming enterprises across major sectors of the world’s economy. Under the leadership of Co-Managing Partners, Jamie Montgomery and Sumant Mandal, the firm has grown to a team of over 30 professionals. 

About The Montgomery Summit: The Montgomery Summit is March Capital’s annual flagship event and one of the nation’s premier technology conferences, drawing 1,200+ highly accomplished entrepreneurs, investors, and leading executives to Santa Monica. The Summit provides March Capital with a differentiated deal flow; the ability to connect our founders with key advisors, investors, and customers; and an opportunity for our portfolio companies to gain exposure among key business audiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage 15+ private sessions (roundtables & dinners) including identifying participants, sending invitations, and managing RSVPs
  • Help update and maintain CRM/database, The Montgomery Summit website, and event app
  • Help with VIP travel coordination & accommodations
  • Assist with content creation for social media & newsletter (LinkedIn, YouTube, Google) 
  • Be a key member of the planning team on-site at The Montgomery Summit 2026


Ideal Candidate:

  • Strong interest in marketing, tech, AI, business, economics, and startups
  • Organized, proactive, detail-oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint
  • Proficiency in design and editing tools (e.g., Adobe InDesign, Premiere Pro, Canva)
  • Familiarity with database management practices

Compensation: This is a paid internship. Details to be discussed during the interview process.
