Quantitative Intern @ Environmental Hedge Fund

Braeswood Carbon is an SF-based investment firm focused on complex energy and environmental markets including carbon cap and trade permits, carbon offsets, renewable power, renewable fuels and more. 

We invest around the globe with a flexible approach across commodities, equities and direct agreements (e.g., project financing and offtakes) from two funds on behalf of limited partners ranging from charitable foundations to family offices.

As Braeswood expands to new geographies and programs, we are looking for prospective teammates to trade quantitative strategies in markets ranging from commodities futures to physical power on the grid.

Opportunities are available to work with us for the summer as well as for part time work during the school year, with potential for full-time offers upon completion.

Requirements:

  • Junior/senior year
  • Quantitative major in math, physics, CS, EE, or statistics 
  • Knowledge/experience in coding and statistics 
  • Interest in algorithmic trading
  • Strong record of academic achievement
