Entry Level Mechanical Engineer (Supervisor)

We are seeking an entry-level Mechanical Engineer/supervisor to support our Mechanical maintenance area who will be responsible for the following: 

• Provide support for higher members of management and supervise Assistant Supervisors and technicians to ensure that the day-to-day work of the Mechanical Engineer section is completed
• Lead a team of talented mechanical technicians toward the maintenance and improvement of manufacturing systems
• Apply knowledge of mechanical theory by evaluating mechanical systems, products, components, and applications by designing and conducting research programs
• Troubleshoot automated processes or equipment when errors occur
• Develop manufacturing processes by designing and modifying equipment for building and assembling mechanical components
• Report to work for the scheduled hours and be able to appropriately respond to situations which require attention outside of regularly scheduled hours to complete assignments

Skills and Qualifications:                              

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering required
• Minimum 0-3 years’ experience, preferable in an industrial environment
• Familiarity with hydraulics, pneumatics, pump systems, and mechanical theory
• SolidWorks experience and ability to interpret blueprints and schematics
• Adherence to all safety standards and procedures
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
