Position: Reporter Intern

Where: San Francisco Bay Area (Mountain View)

Who do we want? Aspiring journalists who want to learn how a fast-paced publication works. We’re looking for interns who want to be actively involved in the team and have what it takes to run with ideas and own them.

Day-to-day responsibilities: No one day at OZY is the same. Interns will support the staff in a variety of ways, including contributing reporting to major features and playing an active role in marketing. Interns will be expected to pitch, research and write original stories as well as conduct an internship-long project that they are passionate about. A number of other exciting opportunities come with being in a small newsroom, including learning about OZY’s photo department, assisting with video projects and becoming familiar with audience engagement, marketing and analytics.
