Sage Educators is a Marin County, California, based tutoring and test-prep organization comprised of the smartest, coolest, and hippest educators in Marin. (Seriously ... just ask us!) We are looking for bright, dynamic people to join our staff.

All candidates MUST have a college degree and stellar academic credentials. Qualifying tests are administered to all applicants. Extensive experience working with groups of elementary and middle school students in an educational and childcare setting is highly desirable, as is upper level math and science knowledge. But if you're an expert in another field, please don't be shy. We're looking for a wide range of skills and experience to ensure we have the right fit tutor for every student who walks in our doors.

This is a full-time position. During the school year, our tutors work between 35 and 45 hours per week. Please note that, when school is in session, our office operates on non traditional schedule: Sundays noon-8pm and Mondays-Thursdays 2-10pm. Depending on school schedules and the impact Covid-19 has on the school year, earlier hours and even Fridays, might be an option as well. There is also potential for remote tutoring days in conjunction with in-person tutoring days.

Our training period is meant to familiarize new tutors with our particular pedagogical approach and to bring our tutors up to speed with any shaky concepts. However, applicants must have a strong foundation from which to start.

We ask that tutors have an honest expectation that they will be able to work for at least the 2022-2023 school year.
