Social Media Intern
General Purpose:
This is a rare and exciting opportunity for a student interested in PC gaming and social media to better understand gaming marketing and social media strategy. If your future holds a career in digital marketing, and you want to mesh your passion for PC gaming with writing, editing, and copywriting, then this internship is for you.
Position Summary, Responsibilities and Expectations:
Assist with facilitating conversation via social media by identifying relevant posts to engage with.
Manage the r/CORSAIR reddit and official discord channels by moderating and reviewing comments and posts generated by our fans and customers.
Assist the community of commenters and subscribers by providing support and guidance where necessary.
Express yourself with creative writing and assist us in making unique and entertaining content for the gaming community.
Assist in managing the flow of content from our social feeds and support channels to the subreddit.
Assist in gathering metrics and reporting numbers from our various social media platforms.
Essential Skills and Experience:
Knowledgeable in gaming culture and language
Writing creative copy related to gaming
Understanding of the functions of all social media platforms
Exceptional time management
Experience in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Powerpoint
Active in gaming clubs and events is a plus
Photography and photoshop experience is a plus
No Relocation assisstance.
