Events Intern

We are looking for a motivated individual to join our fast growing company as an Event Intern. This role will be an integral part of the Marketing Team, driving various event projects, tasks, and registration duties for SmartRecruiters annual industry conference, Hiring Success. The intern will also support ad hoc event coordinator duties.
 
This internship will have a measurable impact upon SmartRecruiters’ strategy and attendee experience at Hiring Success 19. As an intern, you will improve your phone presence, communication and organizational skills, and prospecting skills by driving attendance and key projects for Hiring Success. We’re looking for someone who has proven ability to manage multiple projects at once, will pay attention to the small details (while also thinking creatively), and can help drive results with cross-functional team members.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Assist with registration tracking and data analysis

  • Support marketing led campaigns in traditional marketing channels, social media, and influencer marketing

  • Assist with sales requests and managing incentive programs

  • Support the conference sub-events such as the Recruiting Startup of the Year competition, Hackathon and more

  • Other projects as needed

Qualifications

Minimum Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
● Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university
● 1 year Marketing or Sales experience preferred (previous internships or part-time work)
● Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
● Extremely organized and detail oriented
● Event coordination and logistics experience preferred
● Highly motivated, self-starter attitude
● Ability to collaborate with team members while identifying opportunities to contribute value individually

This internship opportunity is anticipated to last through April 2019 (full-time preferred but open to part-time)
