Jewelry & Metal Arts Lab Technician
Academy of Art University is hiring Jewelry & Metal Arts Technicians for the Spring Semester - now through May 25, 2019. This is a part-time position working up to 40 hours per week for the balance of Spring semester. To learn more about the School of Jewelry & Metal Arts, click here.
Job Description:
- Issue and recover tool for students and Instructors.
- Clean, repair and maintain all tools.
- Clean and maintain machinery in the studios.
- Take inventory of all tools and supplies.
- Provide assistance to diverse student body as well as Faculty.
Requirements:
- Must have working knowledge of Jewelry and Metal Arts tools and equipment and be safety-minded.
- Previous Jewelry & Metal Arts experience required. Welding experience is a plus.
- Must have prior customer service experience and be able to effectively provide support and communicate important policies and procedures.
