Director of Programs

Are you interested in joining a dynamic, fast growing, non-profit creating big impact for our Nation’s Veterans? The HillVets Foundation is looking for an incredible and passionate self-starter to take the realm of our programs. This opportunity is for someone that thrives working across the professional spectrum, you will engage with politicians and philanthropist, while working with veterans that are partaking in HillVets programs.  

As the HillVets Director of Programs a typical day might include:

·      Reviewing and selecting applicants for our HillVets House and HillVets LEAD programs
·      Working with Members of Congress and their staffs to find successful placements and employment for HillVets House Fellows
·      Organizing the logistics and meetings for our leadership training and mentorship program
·      Assisting in the planning and logistics of numerous events
·      Creating surveys and feedback loops to gauge the success of our programs, and to find areas for improvement, and then executing those improvements
·      Assisting with organizational social media such as Twitter, Facebook, and others
·      Assisting with development and fundraising
