Student Assistant - Metro Region, Taylor TSC
There are two positions available with this posting. These positions are limited to 129 hours/month.
Employees in this job perform a variety of technical support activities related to a field of academic specialization for a state department or agency. This classification is designed to facilitate the employment of college and vocational students seeking temporary employment opportunities related to career or curriculum goals. This position functions as an assistant to the Taylor Operations Unit and will help review and inspect work completed within and on the state's trunkline system. This position requires extensive work in the roadway and in heavy traffic and the ability to calculate mathematical equations.

Current enrollment in at least six credit hours/semester at a post-secondary educational institution.

Additional Requirements and Information
The student must provide evidence of enrollment (official transcript) or acceptance to a post secondary educational institution.
Position requires a current driver's license in good standing.
