Junior Trader
Description: We are seeking an entry level trader to execute transactions on behalf of our company. Proprietary traders will have access to firm capital, and benefit in the economies of scale. Our extensive training program will consist initially of risk management but will quickly advance into technical analysis, hedging techniques, tape reading, and portfolio management. Sports knowledge and a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or Economics is a plus but not required. Expectations are high.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze market
- Execute orders
- Manage company portfolio
- Research sports teams and players
- Data entry projects
Skills/Requirements:
- CANDIDATES MUST BE ABLE AND WILLING TO COMMUTE TO CENTRAL NEW JERSEY OFFICE EVERYDAY
- Bachelor's Degree, minimum GPA 3.0
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Google Docs
- Strong work ethic and able to learn quickly in a fast paced, high pressure environment
- Aggressive, self-motivated individual who functions well in a team environment
- Excellent listening skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Maintain composure and communicate clearly when under pressure
- Available to work up to 80 hours per week, including weekends
