Operations/Production Intern

As an Operations/Production Intern, you will be responsible for the following:
- Assist in the development of our Food Safety Plan according to FSMA requirements
- Assist in the preparation for a food safety audit
- Follow proper food safety & sanitation principles
- Ensure proper storage of ingredients and finished products
- Maintain proper sanitation in all food production/storage areas
- Rotate older items to be used first
- Help maintain accurate inventory of equipment and supplies
- Monitor proper storage and cleanliness of equipment
- Assist in smoothie production and snack packing
- Perform other duties as required
REQUIREMENTS:
• Self-motivated and driven to exceed expectations.
• Extremely organized with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to multi-task.
• A team player with a willingness to jump in and help with all tasks.
• A quick-thinking and decisive problem solver.
• Moderate to heavy lifting/carrying approximately 10 - 35lbs
• Genuinely embrace a healthy lifestyle (ONLY on-smokers)
