Software Engineer (Internship)
WorldQuant is looking for exceptional software developers to join our team. You must be interested in solving difficult problems, which require expertise at the lowest levels of how computers work as well as being able to turn that knowledge into practical solutions. At WorldQuant, you will join a team that is creating state of the art software to enable a fully automated, cutting-edge investment and trading process. Engineers develop software to process vast amounts of data, create distributed financial modeling systems, and trading and investment process automation systems.

What You’ll Bring:
- Pursuing a degree in a quantitative or technical discipline; Strong GPA & SAT scores
- Exceptional programming skills in one or more OOP languages (Ex – Java, C++, Python)
- Strong math / stats background for more quantitative roles
- Demonstrated excellence in your chosen field of study
- Demonstrate an extraordinary talent or skill unrelated to your course of study
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills with strong attention to detail
- Mature, thoughtful, with the ability to operate in a collaborative, team-oriented culture
- Be self-motivated and take initiative; ask thoughtful questions to achieve desired results
