Country Coordinator, Winter/Spring/Summer

Country Coordinators lead teams of volunteers and interns overseas and facilitate service and development projects to benefit local communities. They work with community leaders and organizations to build partnerships, assess needs, and build social programs to improve societies and support sustainable change. 

​HELP International seeks Country Coordinators who are passionate and committed strong leaders to run our international programs. Two applicants will be hired for each of the countries HELP operates in during the spring (Greece), summer ( Uganda, Cambodia, Peru, India, Fiji, Greece), and winter (Greece)

Once hired, Coordinators are expected to work on average five to ten hours per week (work schedules are flexible) at an hourly wage of $10 per hour until departure. In-country, Coordinators will be given a stipend which covers cost of meals. They will also be compensated an additional $1,000 salary paid in two $500 increments. In addition, HELP will cover all program-related in-country transportation, airfare, visas, breakfast and dinner 5 days a week, lodging, and international emergency/health insurance. 

QUALIFICATIONS:

Leadership experience, including direct supervision and project management
Team development experience
Excellent cross-cultural communication skills
Substantial international experience in a related capacity
Native language fluency if applying for Peru and Cambodia
Basic academic or practical development experience
