Client Insight team of Meltwater plays a vital role that helps our clients see the outside insights of their media performance. By leveraging multi-channel datasets, CI team focus on unveiling media insights in the market where our clients are operating. From tracking impact and sentiment analysis in real time to having an insight about the competitors’ online footprint, our Insight team helps clients to understand the bigger picture and their industry as a whole. The career path at Meltwater is competitive, your career growth is completely determined by your learning ability, performance and leadership qualities. You will be assigned to Client Insight or Key Account Insight team based on your strengths and the business needs. There is an opportunity for top achievers to rotate through different commercial functions throughout the time with us.
- Analyst (1st Year): Develop in-depth knowledge of the product, media landscape, industry knowledge and insight research techniques. Exposed to all kinds of insight projects and client meetings. Handle full cycle of insight research process.
- Senior Analyst (2nd - 3rd Year): Lead our larger and challenging insight projects. Provide strategic and consultative guidance to clients. Build relationships with clients through day to day interaction. Coach junior team members on personal and professional development.
- Project Lead (4th Year+): Hire, inspire, coach and motivate a team of Analysts to work on ranges of complex and important insight projects. Develop new ways of analyzing, integrating, visualizing and presenting media data.
What would love to see...
- University Degree in Communication, Media, Data Analysis, Marketing, Public Relations or Business related majors.
- Strong analytical skills and good at collecting and summarizing large volume of data from multi-channels.
- Fluent in written and spoken English and Mandarin (mandatory).
- Strong communication skills with ability to communicate with a diverse set of clients and colleagues at all levels.
- Passionate about digital marketing and social media.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented and always able to complete tasks independently within tight schedules.
- Team player, innovative and proactive to make contributions to the team.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and ready to take new challenges.
- Proficient in Excel and PPT.
- International experience would be a plus.
- With experience in market research, e.g. qualitative and quantitative research and survey design, as well as any programming language eg. VBA, Python, Tableau, SPSS or R is an asset.
