Analyst Intern - Health Care Strategy

About the Analyst Intern Position:
This is a position for undergraduate students with research experience in biology or first year MS/MPH students graduating in 2021 with research experience in health care management, health policy, biostatistics, epidemiology, or a related field. As an Analyst Intern, you have the opportunity to work on multiple projects at a time. Responsibilities and work experiences may include:
  • Conducting a range of health economics analyses such as treatment pattern and outcomes, comparative effectiveness, cost-effectiveness, and budget impact
  • Analyzing data using algorithms, statistical programming and modeling in Java, Python, R, SAS, Stata, VBA and other programs to support development of a value proposition or estimate of product value
  • Synthesizing qualitative and quantitative information from diverse sources including academic literature, clinical trial data, findings from primary market research, and administrative claims data to support market access and commercialization objectives,
  • Developing market access strategy including market assessment, evidence generation strategy, product development, and pricing and reimbursement for drugs, diagnostics, and devices
  • Performing market sizing using epidemiology and market share data to estimate eligible and treated patients
  • Providing support for product launches, including developing evidence compendia, product dossiers with clinical and economic evidence to support US and global reimbursement decisions
  • Creating visual presentation of findings from quantitative and qualitative analyses in PowerPoint presentations
