Machine Learning Scientist

As Senior Machine learning Scientist, you will play a key role in designing, developing and deploying machine learning algorithms for global asset management prediction problems.  

You should have a strong background in building models for prediction and classification, knowledge of financial  markets, and excellent programming skills. Ideally, you’ve applied ML to predicting asset prices, have successfully built models using deep learning, have experience in Python and have experience with cloud computing.  Your skills in coding, writing, and presenting are provably applicable to a wide audience through publications in top-tier venues, invited talks, demos, and open source authorship.   You should have A PhD in computer science or equivalent experience in a directly related field but exceptional candidates without will be considered.   We expect leadership capabilities that allow you to best leverage your machine learning talents throughout the organization on complex projects and want you to have comfort with owning complex projects and managing teams throughout the development cycle from design to delivery. 

 

Strong opinions and the eloquence to express them well are good - good listening skills, patience, and flexibility are just as important.  We need scientists with both sets of skills.
