Database Marketing Intern (Fall 2019)

As an Intern on the Database Marketing team, you will help execute on a contact acquisition and marketing strategy for Okta’s prospect and customer database. You learn how to use Salesforce, Marketo, and other CRM-related tools to collaborate with marketing, sales, and sales development teams to build marketing campaigns that target our database. You will work quantitatively and qualitatively on database acquisition, enrichment, and activation strategies.
 
Database Marketing Intern Job Duties & Responsibilities
  • Data entry and analysis using Salesforce and Excel
  • Data aggregation using social and industry platforms
  • Execute within project timelines and raise risks to project leadership
  • Work on ad hoc projects
 
Minimum Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Sales, Operations, Statistics or related field with an expected graduation of December 2020 or later
  • Ability to start right away
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent presentation skill
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Able to work under direction on multiple project deliverables at once
