Shazam R&D Intern (Apple)

Internet Services is one of the fastest growing business units of Apple and it is a phenomenal time to be part of the team fueling this growth. Within Internet Services, Apple Media Products comprise of our services such as the App Store, Apple Music, Shazam, Movies, News, and Apple Books.

Some Responsibilities Include
Our work on the R&D team extends to areas all over music technology. 

Our team is a unique mix of backgrounds, experiences, and skills. The team is dynamic and full of incredibly bright, hardworking, and fun people passionate about technology, digital media, arts and entertainment.

As an intern, you will work closely with the engineers and scientists on our team while conducting a research project of your own design. Intern projects make a huge impact, often directly contributing to end production.

Qualifications:

We are looking for students excited about music-related research in DSP, machine learning, and data science for summer 2019. 

The right person should have a proven interest in music as well as a solid foundation in DSP, machine learning, statistics, or a related field. While this is not a software development position, we prefer individuals with a strong background writing and testing software as well as collaborating with other developers across teams.

Our interns have the passion, energy, and self-motivation to leave their mark by the end of their internship. 


Education:

You are a graduate student possibly studying: Engineering, Math, Sciences, or Music. Graduating no sooner than September 2020 or June 2021.
