Tools Development Intern, Internet Services for China (Apple Media Products)

Internet Services—including App Store, Apple Music, iCloud, and others—are among the fastest growing groups at Apple, and China is one of Apple’s largest and most important markets for Internet Services. We are looking for an intern to design and develop in-house tools and processes that help Internet services teams manage complex international business and software projects.

This position is an opportunity to combined your engineering and analytical skills with your ability to collaborate across different teams and cultures. Work closely with accomplished business and technical teams to build processes that will facilitate delivering complex and critical international projects.


Some Responsibilities Include:

In this role, you will design, develop, launch and iterate on new tools to automate and streamline operational processes. You will leverage your excellent written and verbal communication skills to research and understand what users need, balance that with the needs of other stakeholders, and deliver products that make processes fall away so that users can focus on their work. Be prepared to collect, organize, and analyze both qualitative and quantitative data from a variety of sources.



Qualifications:

  • Strong technology, analytical, and quantitative skills.
  • Demonstrated interest in international business or policy
  • Interested in negotiating and building relationships. Able to communicate effectively with and win cooperation from collaborators.
  • Takes ownership and drives projects to completion.
  • Adapts to changing requirements.
  • Curious, willing to learn, and to try new things.
  • Driven to solve problems, improve processes through tools and other efficiencies.
  • Self-starting, self-motivated, self-directed, and self-sufficient.
  • Experience with wikis, especially Confluence, a plus


Education:

You are a graduate student possibly studying: Engineering or Business. Graduating no sooner than September 2020 or June 2021.
