Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree and 5 - 7 years of directly related experience in a Regional Maintenance Center (RMC), Shore Intermediate Maintenance Activity (SIMA), or shipyard environment.
- Education and work experience may be adjusted for highly specialized knowledge or uniquely applicable experience.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- A DoD Secret Security Clearance is required.
- Experience in using Earned Value Management (EVM) techniques.
- Familiarity with ship construction or maintenance and modernization processes.
- Knowledge of shipyard production trades, processes, and procedures.
- Familiarity with shipyard workload and capacity projections.
- Knowledge NAVSEA Standard Item 009-60, which requires Master Shipyard Repair (MSR) companies to provide production schedules and associated reports
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Access, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience in using scheduling software (e.g., Open Plan, Project, Primavera).
