Strategic Planning Analyst

Job Title: Strategic Planning Analyst
Location: San Francisco, New York or Seattle
Job Summary:
The Strategic Planning Analyst will be responsible for developing and analyzing organizational growth strategies. The main objective is to complete thorough analyses of the organization's business goals and identify helpful and harmful factors related to completing these goals. This position suggests changes to current business plans, procedures, and policies based on the analysis of potential benefits and risks of implementing new strategies. He/she will be responsible for developing reports discussing all changes or improvements that the business needs to reach its goals, including in areas such as funding decisions, staffing, and procedures.
Major Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for overseeing the coordinated planning and implementation of company initiatives responding to the needs of the senior management, major opportunities, and other policy and operational issues;
  • Bring new and innovative thinking, collaborating cross-functionally to ensure effective implementation of strategic planning, results-based management systems and processes;
  • Work closely with senior management, the position will facilitate the translation of relevant company strategies and other policy intents into viable integrated tasks and priorities;
  • Creates valuable, transformative business strategies by leveraging predictive/ analytical modeling, data mining, and research from large scale, complex data sets;
  • Work on insightful business analysis that evaluates the damage prevention industry and regulatory environments for best practices, standards, benchmarks and trends;
  • Leads strategic analysis in key areas to identify trends, and creation of executive summaries for senior management;
  • Continuous evaluation of process, data, timeline effectiveness to provide recommendations on increasing effectiveness of results;
  • Performs other duties as assigned or as necessary.
Qualifications:
  • MBA in Strategy, Corporate Finance or related area;
  • Minimum 1 to 3 years of experience in real estate or strategic consulting industry;
  • Proven capacity to lead strategic planning, results-based management framework development and execution, and process and system design;
  • Financial statement analysis skills;
  • Predictive/analytical modeling, data mining, and research from large scale, complex data sets
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines with quality;
  • Ability to apply critical thinking and analysis (forward thinking) to work product;
  • Strong communication (oral & written) skills;
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to promote change;
  • Bilingual Chinese preferred.
