Progress towards a Bachelor's Degree in a business, accounting, finance or similar concentration is required. Completion of introduction to accounting coursework is highly desired.
DESCRIPTION OF ASSIGNMENT
The intern will have the opportunity to interact with managers in Career Distribution and Distribution Finance. This interaction with provide them an understanding of Career Distribution, Sales Reporting, Incentives & Recognition, Sales Training, Recruiting, Expense Management, and Agency Accounting.
TYPICAL JOB ASSIGNMENTS
1. Field Recognition - Review daily sales reports and work with management to recognize sales leaders. Develop and maintain reporting on significant field accomplishments by the field force.
2. Field Training – Administer field access to training platforms. Manage usage to comply with vendor contracts. Assist in organizing onsite training events.
3. Recruiting – Create & distribute reports that support recruiting campaigns
4. Expense Management – Perform analysis of budget to actual for Career Distribution operating expenses
5. Agency Accounting – Perform agency accounting journal entries and perform monthly cash settlements
6. Sales and Variable Compensation Reporting – Create, enhance, and distribute reports to internal and external partners on sales performance and variable compensation.
7. Intern project – Collaborate with a team of interns on a summer long project that will be presented to senior management.
