Junior Survey Application Developer

In today’s healthcare market, patients are given little guidance outside of the hospital. MedTrak’s mission is to fix this problem. Our company’s proprietary software, CareSense, allows doctors to create care plans that support patient recovery at home. Through automated text messages, app notifications, emails, and phone calls, patients are sent educational content, monitored for potential issues, alerted about important events, and surveyed on their health state. Job Summary
In this role, you will configure custom medical survey applications using our proprietary software platform to help health systems and physician practices monitor patient progress over time. Self-starters with a proven ability to learn technical concepts and recent or soon-to-be graduates or those looking for a career change are especially encouraged to apply. You will gain hands-on experience working with a system that you will be asked to develop and improve.

Qualifications
What we are looking for:
·      Mastery of basic programming concepts
·      Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
·      Ability to take initiative to deliver high-quality work without explicit instruction
·      Enjoys logical thinking/reasoning
·      Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
·      Eagerness to learn and take on new challenges
·      Must be a US Citizen or US Permanent Resident authorized to work without sponsorship

Additional helpful qualifications and skills:
·      JavaScript/HTML/CSS experience
·      SQL experience
·      0-2 years of related professional experience
·      BS in Computer Science OR coding bootcamp graduate OR equivalent experience
·      Familiarity and comfort with basic project management principles
·      Experience at a small company
·      Experience with entrepreneurship or hobby projects
·      Intellectual curiosity and drive; self-starters will thrive in this position

Duties and Responsibilities
·      Using proprietary software to build surveys using JavaScript and HTML
·      Configuring client accounts through proprietary tools and SQL
·      Maintaining up-to-date working knowledge of the CareSense system features and updates
·      Translating client needs into concrete tools and utilities
·      Prioritizing a diverse list of tasks and responsibilities
·      Documenting client build specifications, protocols, and CareSense features and capabilities
·      Working with an integrated team to satisfy client needs
·      Helping solve project-related issues to ensure project delivery
·      Opportunities for rapid growth into development or analyst roles as appropriate based on your skill set and interest
