Data Analyst Developer

In today’s healthcare market, patients are given little guidance outside of the hospital. MedTrak’s mission is to fix this problem. Job Description

MedTrak receives data from hundreds of hospitals through multiple electronic medical record systems every day. In this role, you will be responsible for interfacing with external data sources and then analyzing, organizing, and validating the resulting information. Responsibilities include:
            
·      Writing queries and scripts to import data
·      Creating graphs, tables, and dashboards
·      Analyzing incoming information to assess data compliance and completeness
·      Understanding external data sources to understand what needs to be imported
·      Testing importation code
·      Speaking with clients about the best ways to integrate with their systems

Qualifications:
 
  • STEM or Computer Science Degree
  • Experience programming in Python, JavaScript or R
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to take initiative to deliver high-quality work without explicit instruction
  • Enjoy logical thinking/reasoning
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Eagerness to learn and take on new challenges
  • Independent problem solving, which can lead to assisting in design, production, and improving products/software MedTrak delivers
  • Must be a US Citizen or US Permanent Resident authorized to work without sponsorship

Additional helpful qualifications and skills:

·      SQL experience
·      Experience with statistics
·      Familiarity and comfort with basic project management principles
·      Experience at a small company
·      Experience with entrepreneurship or hobby projects
