Summer Internship
Our eight week Summer Internship Programme, for penultimate year university students, has been designed to simulate our Graduate Programme so that you can understand what a career with LSEG would really be like.
These are real roles; in fact, sometimes our summer interns are surprised at the level of responsibility given to them. As a summer intern, you play a part in our success, just like you would do as a graduate.
Our Fort Mill office is a key location for our Information Services division. The dynamic nature of roles in this area include a variety of teams such as data analytics, data collection, market data and index management. The opportunity to intern in one of these teams puts you at the centre of a business that provides our customers with an extensive range of valuable information, analytics and data products that inform investment decisions and capital allocation, including indexes, data on pricing, trading and valuations.
What we are looking for from you:
You should be in your penultimate year of study, with a strong academic record and a demonstrable interest in pursuing a career in finance and financial data.
We are passionate about recruiting people who understand the full breadth of our business, how it fits together, how it functions – and demonstrate dedication to its development as it grows and diversifies.
To be successful on the programme, you will need to be a highly motivated and creative individual who shares our values and real passion for success and growth.
To adapt to changing demands, you’ll need strong intellectual capability, a fluid communication style, plus the gravitas to establish positive relationships and influence key partners. It is also vital for you to be driven and resilient to see projects through to successful completion.
