Required:
- 1- 2+ years internship/coop/industry experience of; preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, scrap reduction and six sigma highly preferred
- Should be available to start in 2-3 weeks
- This is a full time job and applicants should be able to work full time
Responsibilities:
- Enthusiastically support and contribute to manufacturing program and tools
- Process improvements: Conducts evaluations, suggests designs and spearheads development of manufacturing processes including production flow, assembly methods and production equipment
- Mitigate waste: maximize efficiency and minimize waste
- Lean Six sigma understanding: Implement lean processes, conduct time studies, identify continuous improvement initiatives
- Review, update and write detailed process instructions.
