Co-op - Inventory Management, Summer & Fall 2020

This position is in Tech Transfer & Logistics within Preclinical Manufacturing & Process Development in Tarrytown, NY. There is 1 position for Summer AND Fall 2020 (full time, May/June to December 2020).

This student will be relied upon to help manage drug product and research reagent inventory from secured freezers with the use of a LIMS database. They will help receive and fulfill daily product requests to support Regeneron research needs in a timely fashion while providing high quality customer service. He/she may prepare aliquots of drug product and research material while utilizing sterile lab technique to support inventory and requisition needs. They will assist in conducting external shipments of research reagents to collaborators and contract research organizations. They may help assist in expanding value-adding operational performance metrics based on supply chain management practices and devising strategies to improve inventory and distribution efficiencies. They may also assist in developing dashboards to visualize these metrics within a data visualization software. They may also assist in monitoring, planning, mapping, and forecasting of product demands across the organization.

• Must be a sophomore or above

• Pursuing a degree in Chemical Engineering, Biology, Biochemistry, or equivalent science major with an interest in Supply Chain Management, Inventory Management, Demand Planning, Operations, Logistics and Data Analytics

• Great communication skills required. Proficient in Microsoft Office(Word, Powerpoint and Excel). Prior laboratory experience is a plus

General Co-op Program Information:

• Must be enrolled in, or accepted to, an academic program pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, PhD or PharmD

• Program is full-time (~40 hrs/wk) and is paid

• Prefer demonstrated leadership in areas such as campus activities, clubs, sports or the community

• Minimum GPA of 3.0

• You will work with a specific manager on a project(s)

• Enjoy regular 1 hour Co-op Program events: learn about other areas of the company from employees, soft skills workshops, networking, volunteering, and more!

• Present to your team on your project(s)
