Co-op - Process/Project Management, Summer & Fall 2020

This position is in Process/Project Management within Preclinical Manufacturing & Process Development in Tarrytown, NY. There is 1 position for Summer AND Fall 2020 (full time, May/June to December 2020).

This student will work in a cross-functional team supporting Resource Management and Operations. This group performs analyses informing Headcount and Equipment needs, and maintaining budgets, forecasts, and operational processes for PMPD.

With guidance, the candidate will gain familiarity with and improve upon existing resource analysis methods, seeking to leverage statistical applications to enhance accuracy of forecasting models. The candidate will gain exposure to, and seek to understand key drivers in resourcing models, including production processes and development activities within PMPD. Additionally, the candidate will work to streamline current resourcing methodologies and may work to improve knowledge sharing through the use of shared data dashboards. As needed, the candidate may assist the Resource Management and Operations group with other aspects of Operations and Logistics. This is a customer oriented role, and strong communication, and customer focus are a must.

• Must be a rising Senior or above

• Business, Applied Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Chemical Engineering, Biology, Biochemistry, or equivalent science major with an interest in Finance, Data Analytics, Operations, Logistics and Data Visualization.

• Great communication, organizational, and customer focus skills required. Strong Excel and statistical skills required. Prior knowledge of bioprocessing and/or experience with statistical software is a plus.

General Co-op Program Information:

• Must be enrolled in, or accepted to, an academic program pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, PhD or PharmD

• Program is full-time (~40 hrs/wk) and is paid

• Prefer demonstrated leadership in areas such as campus activities, clubs, sports or the community

• Minimum GPA of 3.0

• You will work with a specific manager on a project(s)

• Enjoy regular 1 hour Co-op Program events: learn about other areas of the company from employees, soft skills workshops, networking, volunteering, and more!

• Present to your team on your project(s)
