Pacific Premier Bank’s 2020 Summer Internship Program is scheduled from June 8 until August 14 (varied depending on schedules of each intern). This ten-week program is designed to provide customized opportunities for students to get a better understanding of the banking industry and business strategy as they gain valuable experience for academic and professional growth.

As a Summer Intern, you will have the unique opportunity to work on meaningful business projects, interact with senior executives, and attend fun social events outside of the work environment. Your meaningful work experience may even translate into a scholarship award and/or a full-time position in the banking industry upon your academic graduation.

Under supervision, students will perform a variety of professional, entry-level duties to obtain practical experience related to their major field of study and interest, and the sponsoring department’s current business operations within the Bank. Employment will be full-time approximately 40 hours per week, for the duration of the ten-week program. 

We have paid internship positions available in various areas:
  • Accounting
  • Commercial Banking
  • Credit
  • Finance
  • Marketing

Qualifications:
  • Students must be currently enrolled and taking classes at an accredited program or institution and must be entering their junior or senior year by Fall 2020.
  • Declared major in Finance, Accounting, Business, Marketing, or related field preferred
  • Undergraduate students must maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better.
  • Graduate students may apply; however, it is important to note that this program and its educational components are mainly designed and tailored for undergraduates
  • Be at least 18 years of age by the time the program begins
  • Strong analytical, conceptual, communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to self-motivate and work independently within a professional setting
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites, specifically Excel and PowerPoint
