Grid-Edge Valuation Intern

We are looking for talented interns to join us for our 2020 Summer Internship program at our Corporate offices in San Diego, CA. You should be prepared to work in a fast-paced team environment, and will finish the internship having gained valuable experience in renewable energies.
The Grid Edge Valuation Intern will utilize energy modeling tools to simulate on-site energy products including solar, storage, and electric vehicle chargers build financial models in Excel to produce optimal value for EDF Renewables, Inc. and client. Conduct research on energy markets, technology evolution, and competitive landscape of distributed energy resources. Build Presentations to communicate results to sales team and client.
Requirements:
- Current student in a bachelors or masters degree program with a major in Economics/Finance/Math/Engineering or other quantitative field
- Prior experience in renewable energy, investment banking, or management consulting a plus.
- Eligible to work in the US with no sponsorship.
- Available for full time hours in the San Diego office for 12 weeks.
You will be:
- Entrepreneurial, energetic and flexible personality with a bias towards action.
- Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Interested in growing a career in the renewable energy market.
- Familiarity with Python, JavaScript, or energy management software a plus.
