IT Business Operations & Program Management Intern
As a member of the Planning, Governance & Delivery (PGD) group, the IT Project Manager/Business operation associate intern will be responsible for collaborating with cross functional teams to drive successful execution & completion of programs. And also, will be supporting initiatives that impact the internal and external operations. He/she will be playing dual role of IT Project Management & Business Operations Associate to successfully execute project deliveries & business operations.
Responsibilities:
- As a Business Operations Associate will work hand in hand with the department leaders on various initiatives that impact the internal and external operations (80% of the time)
- Providing support for the IDS division with a mindset of idea generation, presentation development, research, and execution
- Assisting with various communication initiatives such as staff meeting presentations.
- Driving ongoing alignment on priorities, milestones and resource allocation across the IDS team
- Assisting with tasks related to operation organizational SharePoint optimization, Budget/expense management
- Maintain and circulate cross team updates from Jira.
- Suggest process improvements as required.
- Working with leaders on budget planning and financial tracking
- Working with stakeholders to prepare executive communications
- Coordinating the preparation of materials for operational reviews with senior leadership
- As an IT Associate Project Manager/Scrum Master will work with the program manager during all phases of assigned projects (20% of the time)
- Assisting with the development of project plans which includes scope, schedule, cost, quality, organization, communication, staffing, risk and issue management
- Facilitate, attend, scribe and distribute minutes for assigned meetings
- Drive project execution by monitoring project status, gathering customer responses and needs, monitoring project scope and watching for potential roadblocks
Qualifications (educational, experience and basic knowledge requirements):
- Working towards or graduated with a bachelor’s degree from accredited college/university in Business,
- Strong with SharePoint, JIRA and MS Office tools.
- Organized with strong attention to detail and effective documentation skills
- Ability to multi-task between concurrent assignments, prioritize effectively, and adapt quickly to changing priorities, assignments, and roles; works well under pressure
- Excellent communication skills including written and verbal; ability to present ideas clearly and concisely
- Relationship-driven with ability to interact with a wide range of individuals
- Creative and proactive problem solver
- Self-motivated with ability to work well in teams and cross-departments
