The Gala Fellows Summer Internship Program is a once in a lifetime opportunity to kickstart a brilliant career in the fields of finance, leadership, social impact, entrepreneurship, FinTech, and neobanking.

- Obtain general training in key areas of professional development.
- Receive specific training in one or more of Gala Capital’s divisions.
- Work in one of one of our companies.
- Engage in social and cultural activities.
- Receive a competitive compensation, plus lodging and transportation to and from Madrid + salary per month.
The program
Specifically, during the program our Fellows will:
· Work on real, key projects from day one: Gala Fellows are not here to make photocopies, bring coffees or stare at blank screens.
· Be challenged: Meritocracy is a core value at Gala Capital, and our trainees can expect to be challenged, and rewarded according to the value they produce for the Firm.
· Receive a tailored experience that optimizes career development: our Fellows will be placed in one of Gala’s Divisions for the remainder of the internship, in accordance to preference and abilities. The divisions are:
- Financial analysis and Private equity
- Corporate Finance and Advisory
- Fintech and Neobanking
- Social Impact investing
- Theater and Musical plays
Our Fellows take charge of the development of their future careers.
· Receive extensive training in modules of:
- Leadership
- Creativity
- Communication
- Public Speaking
- Behavioral Science.
- Entrepreneurship
- Social Impact
- Financial Analysis
· Analyze a real investment case and provide strategic recommendations: In parallel to their day-to-day work, our fellows will have the chance to analyze an investment proposal to pitch to Gala. The winning project will be internally considered for investment and development, as well as receive a prize.
· Receive day-to-day as well as career related guidance: Our Fellows will be assigned a mentor that will follow their progress and guide them through the internship process.
· Network: Fellows will have the chance to formally and informally network with the different members of the Gala Family.
· Accumulate experience in one of Spain’s top investment firms: Gala Capital is one of Spain’s oldest Private Equity firms, and one of the country’s main investment companies. In addition, Gala Capital is one of Spain’s financial services companies most dedicated to social and environmental change.
· Have fun and enjoy Madrid: At Gala we take our jobs seriously, but not ourselves. Our Fellows will have the opportunity to join in the different activities and events, such as:
- Private tours to the Real Madrid Stadium, Prado Museum and Royal Palace.
- Experience the backstage of the theaters of our subsidiary SOM Produce, including live castings of one of our Musicals in Madrid and meetings with the actors.
- Get involve in weekly food tours and cooking classes.
- Practice sports.
- Travel to London to watch a leading musical at the West End and learn the magic of its creation from one of our business associates.

Dates and Application Process
· The Gala Fellows 2-month internship program takes place from June 3rd to July 30th 2020.
· Applications will be accepted until the 131th of March and will be assessed as they are received.
· Program will be conducted in English. Knowledge of Spanish language is a plus, but nor required.

What we look for in a candidate
- Freshman, Sophomore, Junior students (not seniors nor masters degrees)
