Job Details

In an environment of continuous quality improvement, the Database Preloader is responsible for the data transfer of patient information from one system to another for recordkeeping purposes. Exhibits the MHS Standards of Excellence and exercises strict confidentiality at all times.

·         High school diploma, GED or equivalent required.

·         Minimum education in biology, medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, and pharmacology.

·         Attending a nursing or medical assistant program preferred.

·         Typing, spelling, basic medical terminology, interpersonal skills and familiarity with computers.

·         Ability to accurately gather and interpret data.

·         Ability to work with a variety of disciplines and levels of staff across departments and the enterprise.

·         Excellent team player, eager to learn from others and to share skills with colleagues.

·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

·         Highly motivated self-starter, who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can work independently.

·         Strong PC Skills. 

1.    Data transfer of accurate patient information from one system to another such as diagnosis, medications, and allergies.

2.    Works collaboratively across department to understand and meet the organization's data entry needs.

3.    Review and validate data to ensure data integrity and consistency.

4.    Maintains consistency and integrity of data and storage.

5.    Assumes all other duties and responsibilities as necessary.
