Intern - Research & Development
Gigamon is looking for bright and enthusiastic Computer Science (or related discipline) students and graduates passionate about networking and network security.
Responsibilities:
- Work with the team to deploy the latest vulnerability and security management software
- Integrate and deploy latest open source and tool chain in a Linux environment
- Investigate and work with the team to resolve latest Common Vulnerability Exposure reported
Desired Skills/Qualifications:
- background in computer science (CS) or related field and working towards a bachelors (BS) or masters (MS) in that field, master degrees preferred
- basic understanding of networking concepts and technologies
- familiar with Linux open source development, tool chains, Operating System utilities and concepts, and software development life cycle
- programming skills in C, at least one scripting language(s)
- possesses good troubleshooting skills and ability to effectively work in collaborative environment
- excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communications skills
