Job Description:
- Utilize Materials Requirement Planning (MRP) system plan replenishments and release shop orders to meet sales order commitments.
- Manage Inventory levels to balance customer service goals as well as inventory goals.
- Work jointly with Procurement, Manufacturing and Quality teams to execute build plans and address any issues in a timely manner
- Work with Procurement and Production teams to proactively manage the schedule and material dock dates to ensure accuracy of planning
- Provide material status and updates as required
- Develop and implement plans to meet customer contractual delivery schedules
- Update items lead times within MRP system
- Demonstrate continuous improvement by working projects to deliver increasing value.
Qualifications:
- Ability to obtain US Security Clearance
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering or other related degree
- GPA of 3.0 or greater
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge and/or experience in scheduling or supply chain planning preferred.
- Strong computer and analytical skills combined with the ability to manage large amounts of quantitative data
- Proficient in the use Microsoft Office software; working knowledge of relational data bases.
- Knowledge and/or experience with Materials Requirement Planning (MRP) or other enterprise planning and scheduling suite
- Ability to actively listen to customer and plant issues, efficiently troubleshoot problems and implement solutions in a timely and customer focused manner
- Demonstrated analytical, verbal, and written communication skills
- Proficient organization, conflict management, and adaptable in a rapidly changing environment
- CPIM or CSCP certification
