Director of Finance and Operations, APA Family Support Services
It takes a village to raise a child. APA Family Support Services’ (APA) mission is to promote healthy children and families by providing family support services to prevent child abuse and domestic violence. Originally focused on Asian and Pacific Islander families and communities, APA’s work has since expanded to include other members of the community throughout the Bay Area. Through exemplary case management and services provided at their family resource centers, APA helps at-risk families cope with the challenges of raising young children.
With a recently appointed Executive Director at the helm and continued opportunities for funding and support, APA has entered a new stage of growth. APA now seeks a Director of Finance and Operations to strengthen and operate strong financial and organizational systems that will sustain APA’s ability to carry out its services effectively, efficiently, and with transparency and utmost trust.
The Director will work closely with Rick Yuen, APA’s new Executive Director, to develop organizational policies and procedures and oversee all financial and administrative operations of the organization. The Director will be a mission-driven finance and operations leader with a track record of financial transparency and accuracy, and demonstrated experience navigating the world of grants and contracts from a variety of donor types, especially city and municipal government agencies and corporate sponsors. He/She/They will bring a keen attention to detail, the ability to cultivate trusted relationships, and experience driving continuous organizational improvement in partnership with executive leadership.
