Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Intern
Exciting Opportunity for Grad Students!
The role:
We are seeking a graduate-level intern who has an interest in and commitment to equity and social justice. As our equity, diversity and inclusion (EDI) intern, you will research EDI best practices and performance measurement, introduce new ideas, and lead an initiative to implement an EDI practice at our agency. You will also create communication and change management products to support our EDI initiative rollout and implementation. Further, you will plan monthly EDI activities for ODOT staff to carry out in monthly team meetings.
This position is anticipated to be full-time starting in the summer, with part-time hours being anticipated through the spring of 2021. We will also consider candidates who can work full time from June through December, but must return to school in January 2021. This position is located in the Transportation Building within the Capitol Mall in Salem, Oregon.
What we need:
- A currently enrolled student who will be entering their 2nd year of study within a graduate program this fall.
