Revenue Cycle Project Manager

ERPi has an exciting new opportunity for you to join us as a Revenue Cycle Project Manager in Washington, DC!
We are committed to providing superior support to the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), assisting in the seamless care for Veterans, including access to a complete electronic health record (EHR) and shared, transparent care pathways with the Department of Defense (DoD) and community providers. Currently the VA is undertaking an enterprise-wide Electronic Health Record Modernization (EHRM) effort through the procurement of the Cerner commercial electronic health record software, and with our help, this modernization will result in a common, single, lifetime health record that both DoD and VA can access, with anticipated improvements in patient care and safety.
This role will:
  • Facilitate day to day activities of the workgroups to ensure effective future state design and risk remediation of business operations focus areas.
  • Provide subject matter expertise across multiple domains and collaborates with other stakeholders to ensure cross-functional integration of revenue cycle processes.
  • Identify, remediate/escalate key program impacts, considerations, challenges, gaps, risks/issues, success factors and improvement opportunities to Business Operations council and program leadership.
  • Guide detailed problem solving and design-related discussions to achieve the desired future state.
Responsibilities
Required Skills and Experience:
  • At least 10 years of professional experience and a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems, Business or related scientific /technical discipline, or 18 years of experience without a Bachelor's
  • Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience managing Information Technology related projects
  • Well-versed in life cycle and project management methodologies
  • Experience in tracking costs, schedule and performance progress
  • Must be able to identify and mitigate risks
Desired Skills and Experience:
  • Experience in one or more of the following areas preferred: Identity and Registration Management, Community Care, Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA), Revenue Cycle Reporting, Charge Services.
  • Experience implementing Electronic Health Records, to include Cerner EHR
  • DoD and VA experience preferred
