Project Lead NIH

ERPi is currently seeking a fulltime Project Lead to provide onsite support at our Bethesda, MD site. 
ERPi is currently searching for a full-time Project Lead to support The National Institutes of Health (NIH), National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute (NHLBI). The Project Lead will join the Cure Sickle Cell Initiative, a broad public-private partnership aimed at finding a genetic cure for Sickle Cell Disease within five years. This high-visibility, high-impact initiative brings together stakeholders from academic institutions, industry, government, and patient populations and has the potential to change the face of medicine. The Project Lead will work across numerous subcommittees within the Initiative, ranging from clinical studies and data evaluation to communications and patient engagement. As part of the government and contractor team, the Project Lead ensures integration of all project efforts across the institute. 
The ideal candidate will be an energetic professional supporting fast-moving and wide-ranging projects and initiatives. The candidate should be passionate about motivating and engaging stakeholders, and able to develop positive working relationships with individuals from a wide range of professional backgrounds.
  • Ensure integration of all project efforts across the institute
  • Monitor shared services work performance data to develop monthly performance reports for client
  • Assist in developing implementation plan(s) for shared services intake system using JIRA service desk
  • Draft project management plan(s) to support business initiatives
  • Draft quarterly program review presentations for executive leadership
  • Allocate internal team resources to ensure customer needs are met across the institute
  • Continue development and standardization of process documentation for service functions performed by operational staff
Responsibilities
 Required Skills and Experiences:
  • at least 3 years of relevant experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant discipline
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Able to analyze quantitative and qualitative data
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including reports and presentations
  • Strong organization and prioritization skills
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, collaborative and results-driven environment
  • Ability to build and manage client relationships at all levels
  • Ability to think strategically to effectively assess clients’ situation and assemble solutions to meet needs
Additional Skills Desired
  • Knowledge of healthcare policy and practice
