Communications Consultant

ERPi is currently seeking a full time Communications Consultant to provide support onsite at our Frederick, MD location.
ERPi is seeking a communications and marketing specialist with experience providing communications and outreach product development for a Federal Agency across the continuum of strategic communications, including: communications strategy, responding to external communications requests, executive correspondence and presentations, communications product development, social media development, social media monitoring, and communications metrics.
  • Providing subject matter expertise in communications and outreach.
  • Producing communications products to support the program office to include: presentations, branded FAQ’s, talking points, blogs, one-pagers, and social media content.
  • Performing social media monitoring, posting on social media platforms and providing communications metrics summaries.
  • Exhibiting excellence in oral and written communications (briefings and presentations).
Responsibilities
Required Skills and Experience:
  • 5 years of related experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Experience planning and executing Federal Program level communications and marketing strategies and development and execution of communications products
  • Stakeholder analysis
  • Background internal and external communications and/or marketing
  • Knowledge/experience with Veterans outreach and communication campaigns
  • Experience with media analysis regarding social media platforms
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, result-driven environment
  • Ability to build and manage internal and external relationships at all levels within an organization while possessing diplomacy and cooperative style necessary to work effectively with diverse individuals across functional disciplines
  • Ability to think strategically to effectively assess clients’ situation and assemble service solutions to meet clients’ needs
Desired Skills and Experience:
  • Experience working with or for the Department of Veterans Affairs and familiarity with the organization’s values and mission
  • PMP Certification desirable
