Shared Services Internship - Center for Learning and Innovation
RESPONSIBILITIES
Through classes, workshops and other learning opportunities, the Center for Learning and Innovation (CLI) helps employees develop the knowledge, attitude and skills they need to support Northwell Health's strategic and business goals. CLI helps build a culture dedicated to innovation, continuous change, teamwork and excellence.
The intern will:
- Participate in collection and preparation of data relative to the work of the CLI, Patient Safety Institute (PSI), and Emergency Medical Institute (EMI)
- Assist in studies to objectively ascertain the efficiency, economy, and effectiveness of the health system operations, policies and procedures
- Assist CLI leadership in facilitating new programs and/or procedures
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATION
- Currently enrolled in Bachelor degree program, majoring in Industrial Engineering, Organizational Psychology or related field, required
- Excellent communication skills- verbal and written
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
