Our Summer Internship Program is designed to provide you an invaluable work experience through completing challenging projects to help you grow and develop.
Throughout the 12-week program, you will collaborate with some of the best in the industry, receive on the job training and participate in professional development workshops, executive speaker series, and other networking and social events!
What to Expect:
As a Solutions Intern position offers the right candidate the opportunity to participate in a fast-paced team that touches many technologies and solutions in the networking and IoT space and deals with everything from internal engineering to customers and field and marketing teams.
You Will Make an Impact By:
Specific responsibilities include assisting with designing, building, and supporting solution demos (networking, cloud, IoT, software and hardware) and other tasks as needed by the solutions engineering team to showcase how Ruckus solves problems for our customers and partners.
Required Qualifications for Consideration
- Junior or Senior standing in a BS, BA or master’s degree from an accredited university
· Proven strong academic performer with a minimum GPA of 3.2
· Eligible to work in the US for any employer without sponsorship from the company
You Will Excite Us If You
· A hands-on, can do attitude
· Curiosity about new technologies and products, including IoT, wireless and LAN networking
· Love to solve problems
· Coding skill are highly desirable, including API programming experience that includes any and all of the methods: RESTful call programming, streaming (such as pub-sub/MQTT)
· Knowledge and experience in scripting languages such as Python, Ruby, Go also a plus
· Demonstrate strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills
· Show innovation through unique ideas and propose them to the team
