Shared Services Internship - Financial Planning
RESPONSIBILITIES
Working under the guidance and direction of members of the financial planning team, intern will participate in the development of business cases in support of proposed capital investments. Each business case will identify the cost of development and implementation of the project, and quantify the anticipated business benefits and/or savings to be gained.
Specific responsibilities will include:
- Communication with project sponsors and subject matter experts
- Data collection and manipulation
- Worksheet development
- Review and analysis of business models
- Identification of specific financial benefits/savings opportunities
- Development of metrics to be used to measure and monitor the actual benefits derived from the project
Qualifications-REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Currently enrolled in graduate level program, pursuing and advanced degree in Finance, Economics or related field, required.
- Excellent analytical skills, and ability to work in a face paced team environment.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications including Excel.
- Desire to learn and take on new challenges.
