Sales and Partnerships Internship

The Tuesday Company is looking for a Sales Intern to work on our civic engagement app this summer. 

The Team: The Sales Intern reports directly to our small but ambitious DC-based Sales & Partnerships team to find and support the next generation of clients on our app. 

Responsibilities:
  • Support our business development with qualitative research about advocacy organizations, labor unions, and electoral candidates who might be good clients
  • Analyze and summarize a complex market to make concrete recommendations for future business opportunities
  • Conduct quantitative research into FEC reports, tax returns submitted by 501c3, 501c4, and 501c5 organizations
  • Support existing clients by writing blog posts and helping us share best practices for online organizing
Requirements:
  • Extremely well-organized, and passion for helping others be organized
  • Self-starter able to work independently on projects
  • Strong writing and communication skills for internal and external use
  • Advanced experience with data management in Excel 
  • Experience query data with R or SQL

Preferred Experience and Disposition:
  • Capable of jumping down the research rabbit hole for in-depth research projects
  • Thrives in an environment with priorities and deadlines
  • Love of politics and a willingness to become an issue area expert
 
Location: This role is based in Washington D.C.
 
Commitment: We ask for a minimum 10 week, full time commitment with a flexible start-date. This is an unpaid position but we can coordinate with your school to offer academic credit.
