Job Description and Duties

Are you looking for an entry and training level position with the State of California, with nights and weekends off? Do you desire a career path to learn more about business and individual financial statements (balance sheet, income/expense statements, and cash flow statements)? This position is a great opportunity to use your math and data input skills to support a team of business loan officers. The reporting location for this position is in Downtown Sacramento, CA. The CalEPA building is conveniently located approximately one block from light rail, we are also adjacent to the City Hall Parking Garage and provide easy bicycle and commuter bus accessibility. We are ideally located near restaurants, shops, and seasonal farmers markets.

The position is permanent, full-time, with state employment benefits. Students may request a temporary reduced work week schedule while attending classes. The position offers occasional travel throughout the state to assist business and attend conferences and workshops.

You can help the environment and learn about the Recycling Market Development Zone program, that provides direct loans to businesses and non-profit organizations that manufacture recycled-content products. The program website is www.CalRecycle.ca.gov/RMDZ/loans/
