Summer intern
Delirio is looking for motivated interns with strong communication skills, superb attention to detail, and a positive attitude. Interns will gain a hands-on understanding of the documentary filmmaking process by collaborating with team members working on all stages of production, from development to post-production. Typical tasks include:
- Research for new documentaries;
- Assisting on set, including handling production equipment;
- Editing and logging footage for post-production;
- Reviewing narrative submissions and writing script analysis; and
- Occasional administrative support and runs for supplies and equipment.
Prerequisites: None. A major related to film, production, and/or entertainment and an interest in documentary content are preferred.
Location: Delirio Films typically requires interns to work out of our office in Los Angeles. However, all work is currently remote due to concerns around coronavirus; at this time, Delirio Films cannot anticipate whether a summer internship will be remote or on-site, and asks for interested candidates to be flexible.
Car: Required (unless the internship is conducted remotely per coronavirus-related concerns); mileage will be reimbursed.
Schedule: 2 to 4 days per week, typically 9:30am to 6pm. Exact start/end dates are negotiable.
College Credit: Required.
