8x8, Inc. offers a compelling and rewarding career opportunity for a highly talented, motivated and energetic person to work in our Channel Operations department as a Junior Channel Operations located in San Jose, CA. The Jr. Channel Ops Intern will help 8x8 manage inbound web inquiries and cross-reference in our respective database. This role will require interactions with business stakeholders and the internal sales teams.
Responsibilities:
- Screen and approve all Partner registrations
- Screen and assign all deal registration submissions to appropriate sales reps based on territory along with Channel and sub-agent tagging
- Prevent sales conflict by cross-checking new leads against existing customer base and already assigned leads
- Receive and manage Channel email responses and reopen/reassign records if necessary
- Channel Data-clean up - Fix misspellings, abbreviations, etc.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree program at an accredited university
- Previous customer service experience is essential
- Ability to learn and become proficient with Salesforce database, processes, and procedures
- Experience in working in Salesforce would be ideal
- Extremely organized. Ability to grasp business operations and solve problems
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Willing to ask questions, work as a part of a team and independently as needed
