Sr. Engineer, Cloud Data & Storage
The Futurewei Cloud Storage team is in charge of piloting Next Generation Cloud Storage services for Futurewei through Open Source effort. We are looking for smart and experienced architects and engineers who are passionate about cloud new technology, customers and team members. You will be involved in defining the road map of cloud services with latest cutting-edge emerging technology, especially those related with cloud storage.
Job Responsibilities:
· Execute technical strategy and key technologies to ensure long-term competitiveness of cloud storage services and related data services.
· Research latest system architecture, upcoming technology in distributed system
· Design and implement one or multiple next generation Cloud Storage services.
Qualifications:
· Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, or related fields with solid background in computer systems.
· 0-2 yr. research or industry experience
· Deep understanding of system (OS, Storage/FS, networking), distrusted system, and/or database (distributed ML system is a plus). Prefer Ph.D. research was in these areas.
· Team player, self-driven, passionate about new technology and contributing to open source project.
