Algorithm Engineer Intern, Computer Graphics

Responsibilities 
Alibaba is equipped with massive image and graphics data, powerful computation resource, and immense market growth. We are seeking for talents in computer graphics with solid foundational knowledge and extensive practical experience in 3D reconstruction, animation, rendering, simulation, VR/AR, computer-human interaction, etc. Preferred candidate should be intelligent, optimistic, endurable, introspective, striving for excellence and self-motivated. As an computer graphics algorithm engineer at Alibaba, you will be responsible of, but not limited to:
1. Design and develop algorithm, system and product for 3D reconstruction, animation, rendering, simulation, VR/AR, computer-human interaction, etc., including 3D content generation and editing, image matching, visual SLAM, real-time SFM, realistic rendering, physical simulation, natural computer-human interaction etc.
2. Perform research to expand frontiers of computer graphics algorithms, including creative usage of machine learning (e.g., deep learning) in computer graphics problems, and joint innovation with related fields such as computer vision and NLP.

Preferred Qualifications
1. Bachelor degree is required, and Master/Ph.D. degree is preferred, in computer science, mathematics, electronic engineering, telecommunication, automation and related fields.
2. Proficient in C/C++, Java, Python or other related language. Winning experience in programing contest, such as ACM/ICPC and top coder, is preferred.
3. Strong research capability. Publications in related top conferences or journals, such as SIGGRAPH、SIGCHI、ICCV, CVPR, TPAMI and ToG, are preferred.
4. Strong logical and analytical problem-solving capability. Winning experience in data mining competition, such as Kaggle, Alibaba Tianchi, or other authoritative challenges in relevant research fields, is preferred.
5. Extensive experience in computer graphics, computer vision, image/video analysis and processing, or other related fields. Relevant work experience is preferred.
